The Creation of an Orthodontic Specialty Center

At Monmouth-Ocean Orthodontics, we don't just treat patients. We specialize in orthodontics and have created an office that is warm and welcoming while offering top-notch care. Three local doctors decided to create a better orthodontic care facility for our community. Combining our expertise and resources, we created Monmouth-Ocean Orthodontics.

We began with the humble offices of Dr. Kevin Lang, then transformed them into a state-of-the-art premier orthodontic treatment center. Dr. Lang has served the Jersey Shore community for 36 years in the Route 35 office in Ocean Township. Adding the experience of Dr. Eli Halabi and Dr. Haim Tawii, this powerhouse trio is ready to provide the best care for your family at an affordable price.

Three Great Minds Working Together

Orthodontist - DoctorsWhen you see an orthodontist, you create a contract and will be working together for some time. With that in mind, you need to feel confident about your doctor and their knowledge as an orthodontist. Let's meet the three doctors that have combined their expertise and resources to bring you this great facility.

Dr. Kevin Lang has been serving the community for more than 36 years. He has been identified in Monmouth and Ocean County as a Top Dentist and has been featured in New Jersey Magazine. He belongs to the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO) and has been published in scientific journals. As a family orthodontist, there is no greater joy than having second and third-generation family members become patients.

Dr. Eli Halabi brings experience and a wealth of knowledge. He is a frequent contributor to numerous prestigious publications, including the Journal of the American Academy of Cosmetic Orthodontics. He also serves as a frequent guest lecturer at dental study clubs, where he teaches technology and techniques to other orthodontists. Dr. Halabi saw a need for better orthodontic choices along the Jersey Shore, so this partnership made perfect sense.

Dr. Haim Tawii was born and raised right here in Monmouth County. Dr. Tawii is a board-certified orthodontist and is a driving factor in technology. He is interested in dental sciences and engineering and believes that the two combined areas can lead to significant advances in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics.

Technology to Make the Nerds Blush

Technology is truly the future of orthodontics. With advancements since the turn of the century, our ability to create perfect smiles has progressed rapidly. The trend began with the introduction of Invisalign in 1999. Advances continue to increase the efficiency of traditional braces and introduce new techniques and tools. What previously took weeks now takes minutes. Orthodontics has moved into the age of computers, and it is a great fit.

iTero Intraoral Scanner

The iTero Element® intraoral scanner makes orthodontics more precise than ever. Using the wand/camera, the doctor can create more than 6,000 images per second. The scanner, working with complex Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software, assembles the images into a 3D "map" of the inside of a patient's mouth.

ClinCheck® Software

ClinCheck is a software program that helps the doctor streamline treatment plans within minutes. An entire treatment plan can be drawn up, complete with images showing tooth movement progressively from start to finish.

Digital X-Rays

Digital X-Rays work with digital imaging of the mouth to create a complete picture for the doctor. If your child doesn't have all their adult teeth yet, the doctor can use digital X-Rays to predict where the teeth will erupt and whether they will be appropriately aligned. When used in conjunction with braces or other corrective orthodontic appliances, space for erupting teeth can be planned out to ensure alignment.

What We Offer -- Something for Everyone

Whether you're searching for braces near me or need comprehensive orthodontic care, Monmouth-Ocean Orthodontics provides affordable solutions for the whole family. We have smile solutions for children needing early treatment as young as six and seven through seniors that need adjustments. Whether you have children or teens or want a straighter smile for yourself, we have what you need.

The average cost for braces and Invisalign in the United States ranges from $2,500 to $8,000. At Monmouth-Ocean, we wanted to keep our pricing affordable for most families, so the average pricing for our patients ranges from $2,000 to $5,300. We offer flexible payment plans, and you can begin treatment with as little as $500 down.

Traditional Bracesbraces

Traditional metal braces are the same braces we have seen on teens for more than a century. Technology has not deserted this treatment method, though, creating streamlined brackets that are much smaller and provide more adjustability. Our office uses Damon Braces, which are self-ligating and don't require much adjustment. The brackets lock the wire in place without needing rubber bands (elastics), so the appearance is better and provides a more comfortable fit.

Clear Braces

Clear ceramic braces work just like metal braces, but they use a clear, ceramic bracket that blends with the natural coloration of your teeth. We use Clarity Clear Ceramic Braces. They are also self-ligating and very effective at straightening smiles.

Lingual Braces

Lingual braces are bracket and wire braces, but they are mounted on the back of your teeth, making them almost completely hidden. Each bracket is custom to match the contours of your teeth, so this method takes a bit longer before treatment can start. It is also slightly more expensive due to working behind the teeth.

Invisalign

Invisalign® is the most trusted tray alignment system currently available. It was released in 1999 and has only gotten better over time. With a track record that includes millions of now-perfect smiles, Invisalign is an excellent option for patients.
